Italian pianist and composer Andrea Vanzo has emerged in recent years as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary neoclassical music. From his home in the hills surrounding Bologna, he creates intimate, cinematic piano pieces that blend modern classical music with subtle pop influences. His compositions are deeply rooted in nature. The sound of the wind, flowing water and the stillness of sunrise inspire music that captures emotions where words fall short. Vanzo gained international recognition during the pandemic when he began sharing his music on social media. Today, his work reaches hundreds of millions of listeners, making him one of the most influential neoclassical artists of his generation, with more than one million followers on Instagram. His dreamlike interpretation of Song of Storms from The Legend of Zelda also introduced his music to audiences around the world. Following the success of Intimacy Vol. 1, Vanzo released Intimacy Vol. 2 in 2025. Across both albums, he transforms his love of nature, stillness and human emotion into warm, cinematic piano music. In concert, he performs these compositions with the same intimacy in which they were created: understated, immersive and offering listeners a moment of escape from the pace of everyday life.
